This Acceptable Use Policy describes how our Site, products, Member Areas, Courses, and community spaces may and may not be used. It is part of our Terms & Conditions, and it exists to keep Aloha Life Letters safe, kind, and creative for everyone. We want our community spaces to stay encouraging, respectful, and welcoming for everyone.

1. Who This Applies To

This Policy applies to everyone who visits our Site, creates a Customer Account, makes a purchase, subscribes, joins a Course or Member Area, attends a Workshop or Event, or participates in any community or comment space we host.

2. Please Do

• Use the Site and our Services for their intended, lawful purposes
• Provide accurate information when you place an Order, register, or create a Customer Account
• Keep your Customer Account credentials secure and personal to you
• Respect our Artwork, our content, and the rights of others
• Treat our team and fellow community members with kindness and courtesy

3. Please Do Not

When using the Site or our Services, you agree not to:

• Break any law, or use the Site to facilitate anything unlawful
• Copy, reproduce, resell, or distribute our Artwork, products, or Course materials, except as expressly permitted in our Artwork & Copyright Policy and Digital Products, Courses & Member Area License Agreement
• Remove, alter, or obscure any watermark, signature, copyright notice, or attribution
• Share, resell, or transfer your Customer Account, Member Area access, Subscription benefits, or Course access, all of which are personal to the purchaser unless we expressly permit otherwise
• Upload our content to file-sharing sites or redistribute it digitally
• Use our Artwork or content for generative AI, foundation models, large language models (LLMs), embeddings, retrieval datasets, text and data mining (TDM), dataset creation, or any substantially similar technologies now known or later developed. This includes training, fine-tuning, or building any artificial intelligence or machine-learning system using our content.
• Scrape, harvest, crawl, or use bots, spiders, indexing tools, automated extraction, automated monitoring, or other automated tools to collect content or data from the Site without our written permission
• Interfere with the normal operation of the Site, or attempt to bypass security features, access restrictions, or technical protections
• Introduce viruses, malware, or any harmful code, or attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems
• Impersonate anyone, misrepresent your affiliation, or engage in fraud or chargebacks made in bad faith
• Post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, obscene, defamatory, or infringing
• Collect or misuse other users’ personal information
• Use the Site to send spam or unauthorized advertising

4. Intellectual Property Reminder

All Artwork, images, text, and Course materials are protected. Purchasing a product, Subscription, or Course gives you a limited, personal right to enjoy it and does not permit commercial use, reproduction, redistribution, print-on-demand use, NFT creation, tokenization, blockchain technologies, digital collectibles, commercial licensing, sublicensing, dataset creation, or AI ingestion. Please see our Artwork & Copyright Policy, Copyright & Legal Permissions, and Digital Products, Courses & Member Area License Agreement for what is and is not allowed.

5. Enforcement

Where appropriate, we may investigate suspected violations before taking action. If you violate this Policy, we may remove content, issue a warning, suspend or terminate your Customer Account, Subscription, or Course access, cancel Orders, pursue legal remedies where appropriate, or report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities. Enforcement decisions are made at our reasonable discretion after considering the circumstances of each situation. We believe in being fair, reasonable, and thoughtful, and we will use our judgment in each situation. When content or conduct presents a risk to the safety of our community, we may remove it immediately and without prior notice.

6. Reporting a Concern

If you notice suspected copyright infringement, abusive behavior, security concerns, or any misuse of the Site, please let us know at aloha@alohalifeletters.com so we can look into it. Thank you for helping us keep Aloha Life Letters safe, welcoming, and respectful for everyone.
