Your trust means everything to us. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what information Aloha Life Letters collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to send you beautiful mail and run our small art studio well.

Aloha Life Letters LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at https://www.alohalifeletters.com (and the redirecting domain https://www.thealohalifeletters.com) and the related Services described in our Terms & Conditions. This Policy applies to information we collect through the Site, our online store, our Subscriptions, our Courses and Member Areas, our newsletter, and our other Services.

We collect information you give us directly, information collected automatically as you use the Site, and information from the service providers who help us operate.

Information you provide

• Contact and account details such as your name, email address, and shipping and billing mailing address

• Order and Subscription information, including what you bought and your gift-message or personalization notes

• Payment information, which is processed by our payment providers (we do not store full card numbers)

• Account credentials if you create a WIX Member Account

• Content you submit, such as form responses, reviews, comments, Workshop or Event registrations, and messages you send us

• Newsletter and marketing preferences

• Device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring links

• Analytics data gathered through WIX Analytics, Google Analytics, and Meta Pixel

3. How We Use Your Information

• Process and deliver your Orders, Subscriptions, digital downloads, and Course access

• Create and manage your account and member-area access

• Send order confirmations, shipping updates, renewal notices, and other service messages

• Send our newsletter and marketing (only with your consent, and you can opt out anytime)

• Run waitlists, preorders, Gift Subscriptions, and giveaways

• Understand how the Site is used so we can improve it

• Prevent fraud and keep our Site and community safe

• Meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of analytics and advertising cookies may be considered “sharing” (and in some cases a “sale”) of personal information under certain state privacy laws, such as those in California. We do not rent your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions that produce legal effects about you.

4. How We Share Information

We share personal information only with the trusted providers who help us run Aloha Life Letters, and only as needed. These include:

• Website and hosting: WIX, including WIX Payments, WIX Member Accounts, WIX Forms, WIX Analytics, WIX Stores, Pricing Plans, and Events features.

• Payment processing: WIX Payments, Stripe, and PayPal.

• Shipping and fulfillment: the postal and courier services we use to mail your art.

• Analytics and advertising: Google Analytics and Meta Pixel, which help us understand traffic and reach.

• Email marketing: our email marketing provider, which sends our newsletter and updates. We will identify the specific provider here once one has been selected.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights and the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or sale. Any such transfer would remain subject to this Policy.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember your preferences, and understand how it is used. We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. You can also manage your cookie preferences at any time using the cookie settings link in our website footer.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You can update your account details, unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message, and adjust your cookie settings at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or limit certain uses. U.S. state privacy rights (including California)

If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state with privacy legislation, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined by law. Visitors from outside the United States

We operate from Hawaiʻi, USA, and your information will be processed in the United States. If you are in a region with data protection laws, such as the EU or the UK GDPR, we rely on your consent and our legitimate interest in running our business, and you may contact us to exercise your rights.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us, and we will delete it promptly.

8. Data Security and Retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards and rely on the security of WIX and our payment providers to protect your information. No online service can be perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide our Services and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, after which we delete or de-identify it.
