Gift Subscription Terms

A Gift Subscription is a wonderful way to share the joy of Aloha Life Letters with someone you care about. It lets you purchase a prepaid Aloha Life Letters Subscription for another person, so they can look forward to beautiful mail arriving just for them. These terms work alongside our Terms & Conditions and Refund, Cancellation & Subscription Policy.

1. Purchasing a Gift Subscription

Gift Subscriptions are purchased through our Site. When you buy one, you provide the recipient’s information and are responsible for ensuring it is accurate and complete. Delivery timing, such as starting right away or on a scheduled date, will follow the options available at checkout.

2. How Your Gift Subscription Works

The Gift Subscription begins according to the options selected at checkout, and the recipient receives the number of months you purchased. Gift Subscriptions do not renew automatically unless that is expressly stated at purchase.

3. Prepaid Term and Continuing

A Gift Subscription is prepaid and covers only the number of months purchased. Unless expressly stated otherwise, it does not renew automatically and simply ends when the gifted term is complete. If the recipient would like to keep receiving mail afterward, they are warmly welcome to start their own Subscription.

4. Refunds

Gift Subscription purchases are generally non-refundable. Once the first shipment has entered production or has shipped, refunds are not available except where required by law or where otherwise provided in our Refund, Cancellation & Subscription Policy, which applies to Gift Subscriptions.

5. Recipient Information and Address Changes

Please submit any address or recipient changes to us promptly. Because our mail is prepared with care and in advance, changes may not affect shipments already in production or in transit. Recipients are responsible for keeping their shipping information up to date so their art arrives smoothly. Recipients who do not have a Customer Account can update their mailing address by emailing us at aloha@alohalifeletters.com with their name and the gift Order or recipient details, and we will verify and update the address for upcoming shipments.

Although recipients may update their shipping address as described above, Gift Subscriptions are generally non-transferable once the gifted term has begun. Once the first shipment has entered production or shipping, the recipient generally cannot be changed except at our discretion. If you ever need help due to unusual circumstances, you are welcome to reach out, and we will do our best to assist.

International moves. If a recipient moves to an international address during the Subscription term, significant additional shipping, customs, or import costs may apply. Where an address change materially increases shipping costs, we may contact the purchaser or recipient to arrange for the difference, adjust the remaining shipments, or discuss other options before continuing.

6. Shipping, Lost, or Undeliverable Shipments

Gift Subscription shipments follow the same shipping, replacement, and delivery practices as all other Subscription Orders, as described in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

7. Unexpected Surprises

From time to time, we may tuck Unexpected Surprises into Gift Subscription mailings. They are complimentary and are not guaranteed with every shipment. Any Artwork included as an Unexpected Surprise remains subject to our Artwork & Copyright Policy and Copyright & Legal Permissions.

8. Intellectual Property

Receiving Artwork through a Gift Subscription does not transfer any copyright or other intellectual property rights. Please see our Artwork & Copyright Policy and Copyright & Legal Permissions for what is and is not permitted.

9. Reservation of Rights

We may modify Gift Subscription offerings, packaging, included items, mailing schedules, or presentation from time to time, while preserving the Gift Subscription's overall character and purpose.

10. Related Policies

Gift Subscriptions also operate under our Terms & Conditions, Refund, Cancellation & Subscription Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Artwork & Copyright Policy, Copyright & Legal Permissions, and Privacy Policy.
